Rochdale Vets4Pets Ltd is part of the Vets4Pets chain and is described on its website as a locally owned practice that is taking new clients. The clinic appears set up for routine and investigative work, with an in‑house laboratory, digital X‑ray and ultrasound, plus separate cat and dog wards and an isolation unit.
From the latest reviews available to us, experiences are mixed: some owners describe friendly staff, short waits and helpful advice (including a staff member helping choose medication for a cat’s scabby neck), while others report concerns about communication and decision-making—such as being told a kitten would need a heart scan (quoted as around £1000) before neutering, and a separate account describing an appointment where the owner felt the vet didn’t understand a sphynx cat’s needs.
From the clinic website summary, services and facilities mentioned include
Species mentioned on the website: cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
Emergency cover: the website states that when the clinic is closed, emergency care is covered through Vets Now Manchester.
The structured clinic data also states this is a Veterinary Nurse Training facility.

Learnt the hard way to never go with chain vets and to stick with small family run businesses. Didnt really bother with my cat when the vet saw him didnt feel personal. Took my kitten here for his neutering and they refused to see him until I got a heart scan for his suspected murmur which would cost around £1000. Took him for a second opinion elsewhere and they had said it had vanished and managed to neuter him no problem. He is much happier elsewhere now. They also really love my cats and remember them when they come in and cuddle them etc. Its unfortunate some vets do really only care about money rather than animal welfare.

I had a terrible experience with this vet, however everything stated is accurate and really happened to me - so I don't appreciate claims this violates a content policy! Attended an appointment with my sphynx cat. My previous vet was very well acquainted with this more exotic breed of cat and properly understood that they have different needs to other breeds. When it was time for our appointment here, my cat was in his carrier, so could not be physically seen by the vet. I asked if he had any experience with sphynx cats, to which he haughtily and rudely responded that he had decades of experience and knew how to look after cats. I again asked if he had experience with SPHYNX cats, to which he again was really quite rude and simply scoffed at me. Anyway, I explained that I was here because my cat's temperature was lower than it should be. He said cats should not be warm to the touch necessarily. I then took my cat out of the carrier, to which he said, "Oh, I didn't know it didn't have fur, that changes things". Despite supposed decades of experience and an attitude that stinks - he didn't even know sphynx cats are hairless! I strongly recommend anyone with a more exotic animal (and anyone who doesn't appreciate being spoken to like an idiot, by someone whose intelligence in their field is lacking at best) avoid this place like the plague. Needless to say, I didn't attend any of our further scheduled appointments. I was sent a snotty letter a few weeks later, explaining that "the bond of trust between patient and vet had been irreparably broken" by my non-attendance. I assure you, that was mutual!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had, negligence and inexperience in diagnosis and treatment along with selfish and always tired and unmotivated reception, unfortunately only money is a priority for them. Not a proper recovery whenever I needed their help, despite the monthly payment, their frequent calls have abdicated their responsibility from their duties, which is really painful for our pets who play an important role in all of our lives. My beloved dog is not the same as usual after the vaccination and is constantly short of breath and cannot sleep at night.
